Cobra Paw
Dust off your ninja skills and unleash the inner feline within. Cobra Paw is simple, addictive and fast.
You can unbox and start playing within a minute or two. There are no lengthy instructions and convoluted rules to bog you down and turn off younger players.
The Cobra Paw is an ancient tournament of speed and mental fortitude where combatants gather in an arena (kitchen table will do!) to test each other's spirit and courage.
How to Play - Stones are laid out between the players (each is divided in half with a symbol etched on each side). Players take turns to roll the dice, and two symbols are revealed. The first to grab the matching stone (there is only one) can claim it (as long as they are the first paw to touch it). Tiles remain in play even once they are 'won' so players have to defend their stones as well as trying to win new ones. Both offence and defence skills need to be employed at all times!
The triumphant ninja is the first to collect 6 stones.
Includes a code of conduct - players must abide by the simple rules for respecting your opponent and honouring your master. This also helps avoid arguments and settle any disputes.
There are variations of play for masters who are looking for a higher challenge (try the 2 Ninja Stand-Off if you dare!)
Makes a great travel / on the go game (box is fairly light and compact). Stones and dice are great quality, enjoyable to play with and definitely make this feel like a quality game.
